Angemon is one of several Angelic Digimon in Digimon Survive and one who players should do their utmost to befriend if they’re ever lucky enough to get the chance. It’s an incredibly rare spawn when compared to some of the game’s other Digimon but can be found and recruited with enough of the player’s time, patience, and determination.
How to Befriend Angemon in Digimon Survive
Though its spawn may be rare, recruiting Angemon is pretty much the same as befriending any other Free Battle Digimon in Digimon Survive. Players will first need to engage it in conversation, where they’ll be expected to respond to three of its questions or statements. The best Angemon responses will reward players with two points, with three or more points needed by the end of the conversation for players to submit a friendship request.
In keeping with its angelic inspirations, Angemon is a peaceful Digimon and so should be spoken to accordingly. It appreciates it when its positive qualities are recognized and responds well to those who also happen to be kind. It’s interested in the bonds of friendship too, both in terms of how they are formed and how they measure up to familial ties. Where to Find Angemon in Digimon Survive
Players will first be able to encounter and befriend Angemon in Chapter 4 after arriving at the amusement park. It shows up at the “Free Bat.” area there, though is an incredibly rare encounter when compared to some of the other Digimon that can appear. In all likelihood, players will need to cycle through a considerable amount of battles to get Angemon, but the Digimon’s immense strength and powerful Digivolutions arguably make all of this effort worthwhile.
