RELATED: Every Digimon in Digimon Survive (& How to Befriend Them)

Unfortunately, however, despite first encountering Arukenimon in Part 3 of Digimon Survive, players will have to wait until the game’s halfway point to encounter her in Free Battles. As soon as they’re able though, they should make a point of befriending Arukenimon right away, as the Virus attribute Digimon is a worthwhile addition to just about any team.

How to Befriend Arukenimon in Digimon Survive

Players hoping to befriend Arukenimon will need to follow the same process that’s used to befriend other Digimon in Digimon Survive. This means talking to her in a Free Battle, responding to three of her questions or statements, and then asking to become her friend at the end of the conversation. They’ll only be able to do the latter by filling the bar above her head to at least the halfway point, with two points given for the best possible response to each of her questions.

Arukenimon uses the same set of questions and statements as other villainous Digimon like Fangmon, though her attitude couldn’t be much more different. All seven of Arukenimon’s best responses are different from Fangmon’s, with the Spider Digimon more than happy for players to tell it like it is. In order to befriend Arukenimon, players will need to choose some of the more abrasive responses, as evidenced by the table below.

Where to Find Arukenimon in Digimon Survive

Players will first encounter Arukenimon midway through Part 3, though, like some of the other boss Digimon in Digimon Survive, they’ll have to wait a little while longer before being able to get one of their own. From the beginning of Part 6, Arukenimon will begin to appear in Free Battles and shadow encounters, though those who want her a little earlier can get Arukenimon by Digivolving some of the game’s other Digimon.

Digimon Survive is available on PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
