RELATED: Every Digimon in Digimon Survive (& How to Befriend Them)

That said, Birdramon is fairly rare when compared to some of the other befriendable Digimon in Digimon Survive, so players should take the opportunity to make friends with it if ever they get the opportunity even if they don’t plan on using it. In order to do so, they’ll need to know the best answers to Birdramon’s questions, which can all be found a little later on in this guide.

How to Befriend Birdramon in Digimon Survive

In order to befriend Birdramon, players will first need to engage it in conversation during a free battle. As is the case when befriending other Digimon in Digimon Survive, players will need to answer three questions, with their responses determining whether or not they get a chance to ask Birdramon to become their friend. Interestingly, Birdramon has the same set of questions and statements used by Betamon despite the latter having a Virus attribute.

Although it asks the same questions, Birdramon is a little different from Betamon when it comes to the best possible responses. It respects loyalty as much as it does honesty, though is a little lacking in the self-confidence department. It also sees the value in battle, but more in a self-growth kind of way than anything else. The best responses to Birdramon’s questions and statements are shaped by these qualities, as players will find in the table below.

Where to Find Birdramon in Digimon Survive

Encountering Birdramon during the early stages of Digimon Survive is somewhat rare, though players can occasionally do so in special encounters from Part 3 onward. To do so, they’ll need to scan hostile areas using their camera and then select “Fight” if and when a shadow appears. Birdramon does eventually become available in “Free Bat.” areas too, though not until a little later on in the game. For those who just can’t wait that long, it’s also possible to get Birdramon by Digivolving Biyomon.

Digimon Survive is available on PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
