RELATED: Every Digimon in Digimon Survive (& How to Befriend Them)
Later on in Digimon Survive, players will start to encounter Cyclonemon in Free Battles and random encounters, where they’ll have the opportunity to add one to their team. Befriending Cyclonemon isn’t easy, though, particularly as the questions and statements that it uses in conversations are somewhat rare. Even so, with the right responses, players should be okay.
How to Befriend Cyclonemon in Digimon Survive
In order to recruit Cyclonemon, players will first need to start a conversation with it by selecting the Talk option. After doing so, they’ll have to respond to three of its questions or statements, with the best responses filling two segments of the bar above the Digimon’s head. If the bar is at least half full by the end of the conversation, they’ll be able to ask the Digimon to become their friend.
Cyclonemon is a bit of an anomaly as it seems to have a lot of respect for humans in spite of its own arrogance. Players should focus on convincing the Digimon that they’re on the same level, or, where possible, that Digimon are beneath humans in the food chain. For those still having trouble choosing the best responses to Cyclonemon’s questions and statements, it may be worth taking a look at the table below to get a better idea of how to answer.
Where to Find Cyclonemon in Digimon Survive
Although players will first encounter Cyclonemon after the group’s first run-in with Arukenimon in Part 3, they won’t actually get a chance to befriend one for themselves until the start of Part 6. Upon emerging from the underground waterway and leaving the beach, players will start finding Cyclonemon in Free Battle zones, starting with the one in the second island area.
Digimon Survive is available on PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
