RELATED: Every Digimon in Digimon Survive (& How to Befriend Them)

Thankfully, Digivolving Agumon or one of its three Champion forms isn’t the only way to get Triceramon in Digimon Survive. Like just about every other Digimon in the game, players can instead choose to befriend one in a Free Battle or random shadow encounter. Before they can do so, however, they’ll first need to figure out the best possible Triceramon responses.

How to Befriend Triceramon in Digimon Survive

Those hoping to befriend Triceramon will first need to start a conversation with it by choosing the Talk option in a Free Battle or random shadow encounter. They’ll then have to respond to three of the Digimon’s questions, with each answer having an impact on the bar above its head. Choosing the best response from the four provided will fill up two segments, with three or more needed by the time the conversation ends for a chance to ask it to become friends.

For the most part, Triceramon responds best to players making it feel important and powerful. By showing it that they are not a threat, Digimon Survive players will be able to build a near-instant rapport with the Dinosaur Digimon. For whatever reason, though, they will need to behave aggressively when asked if they have something to say, as per the best Triceramon responses in the table below.

Where to Find Triceramon in Digimon Survive

Players will first start to encounter Triceramon in Part 7 after their arrival at the Factory Area. The Dinosaur Digimon is fairly common from that point onwards, though is always worth fighting due to it handing over Large Sincerity Melons when asked for an item. This rare delicacy can be used to raise a Digimon’s SP, which can be incredibly useful in longer battles.

Digimon Survive is available on PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
